What: Zine Orgy 4Play
Date: May 11. 2017, Thursday
Time: 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight
Venue: 77 Events Place, Grove, Los Banos, Laguna
Organizers: Asshulz, Magpies, UPLB Com Arts Society
The event was fun because aside from the ~ahrt~, there were cool performances by UPLB Com Arts Soc that tackled more about the society, especially in the field of politics. There was an open mic, performances, those who played their original songs, and so on.
Like during my usual exhibit, I wasn’t able to roam around and purchase from other artists because there’s no one who can look after my place and art merch. So, I just stayed there, and enjoyed watching people.

What: Toska: A Mental Health Art Exhibit
When: April 6 and 7, 2017, 8AM to 11PM
Where: Commune Café, Commune Poblacion, Makati
Toska is an art exhibit for a cause that featured 70 artists (including me) and all the proceeds were allocated to support people with mental illness.
The door opened around 8AM and closed at 11PM.
It had special performances by:
It was such a wonderful experience. I was thinking before on how can I serve the country in my own little ways and finally, through this, I was able to do something good while enjoying doing my passion.
I got inspired by this event that I thought maybe one day, I could also organize an art exhibit like this. There were many young Filipinas who has been doing great services to our fellowmen through arts like Marika of Woman, Create, the "Cancervants" that aimed at helping cover hospitalization costs and medical procedures needed by kids, and a lot more. Another reason why I joined Toska is because it is focused on people who has mental illnesses. It made me remember my best friend who suffered from depression and wasn't able to finish her study because of it. I also remembered the time I needed a professional help and advice but my mom brushed it off and called me overdramatic. I wanted to help people who wanted to seek professional help and couldn’t afford it because I know how frustrating it is how to feel like you don’t have anything or anyone to hold on to.
I felt alive during the event. I met other artists and saw their works; and from their works, I got more ideas and inspiration. I also learned a lot of things on how they created their works and I was inspired to do paintings again. I am still in the process of mastering my style using graphite pencil but maybe it’s now time for me to give painting a second shot.
Thank you, Toska for this wonderful experience.
What: Elbikon 2017
Date: February 18, 2017
Time: 10AM to 5PM
Where: Baker Hall, UPLB
My second time to participate at Elbikon. Like before, it was fun and all the hardships were worth it. I wasn’t able to roam around to see other artists’ works because the struggle to get up from my seat was real.
You may see below the photos I took using my iPad so I apologize for having low quality pictures.
Thank you so much to all my friends who supported my works and to other people who purchased my artworks.
Hope to see you all again next Elbikon. :)

My works: A closer look
Novus Aphrodite Pudica, being my very first exhibit made it a really important and super memorable event for. As I was writing this, I can still feel the excitement and happiness I felt when I first stepped into Entablado to set up and hang my beloved art works. I couldn’t thank our God in the highest enough because He permitted me to finally showcase my works to a group of people. Like what I have said on my Facebook, I never thought that this would happen because I felt that I was never enough. Until now, I still think that I didn't deserve to have that exhibit, but there my works were displayed and presented to an audience I’ve never once had. I was also able to voice out something really important through my sketches. I am not going to further write more about what happened in this exhibit but I hope you'll get to feel the event through the photos I posted below:
It took me a month or more in preparation for this event. From drawing the actual sketches to be displayed while battling with my work schedules, to lay-outing of my posters, invitations, and calling cards as the event drew nearer.
This is my girl, Nheslyn Calo. She was the one who read my speech because I arrived late.
Selfie with our guest performer, Jeremy Quilario. He performed his original songs during the event.
From left to right, my co-exhibitor Dan Sta. Romana, Yusaine Maon, Nhes Calo, Me, Roy Padrid, and our special and unexpected guess, Ms. Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon.

Where: 77 Events Place (Grove) UP Los Banos, Laguna
I won't be able to attend this event (because it’s my brother's birthday) but I will be selling some of my art prints in postcards, bookmarks, and in sticker forms, and coloring books as well.
If you would like to purchase some of my *cheap* works, please visit my friend, Daniel Sta. Romana's table because I'll be placing my works on his table (he has a good heart and soul, thanks to him). I will also release new designs that I haven't uploaded yet on any of my social media accounts that I'm sure you'll definitely love. :D
My friend Dan, on the other hand, will sell his lovely photographs and his CD with his composed songs in it. (How cool is that? I know right!)
